The idea for this album came a couple of months ago when a friend and I were sitting around a piano. I asked her to describe a cinematic-type scene for me to improvise over. She texted me four prompts, and over the course of an hour I recorded these four tracks. They were all completely improvised, and while I might have strayed from the letter of the prompts, I like to think the idea is still there. They are presented in the order recorded. The "lyrics" for each track is the prompt given.

I called this "Vol. 1" because I seriously doubt this will be the last time I do this.
